PSA: Use the Tips App

So many of the questions asked here are answered in the Tips app by Apple.
I see repeated simple questions that don’t need a Reddit post. The littlest bit of effort will get you an answer for typical how to’s. It will actually be faster to check in this app first than to make a post and hope you get a good answer.
Top Comment: People get offended or u get down voted whenever I say this. 95% of the queries get answered on the search tab. But still people don't use it. The actual rare problems and errors get buried in repetitive posts. So idk if people will use the tips app.

My brother has been playing the series since the beginning and recently was showing me DS2 he told me to just buy 2 but I felt necessary I play the first before buying. So any tips for a new player?
Top Comment: Enjoy the keepin’ on. It starts slow, but once you get a bit into the game it opens up and really shines. Pay attention to the emails and such as the backstories are really, really well done.

Hello! I am new to the game and I'm finding it a little tricky to build stuff and find stuff. Does anyone have any advice/tips for the game? I've looked up some tutorials online on how to build basic ships but even those feel a bit beyond my skill level 😅 are there any specific YouTubers I should watch? Thanks!:)
Top Comment: Do the scenarios. Some works as a tutorial, but mainly they give you goals so it's not like you just do things aimlessly. The first jump. (It shows basic controls and has a tiny bit of story. It is short too.) Learning to survive. (Honestly, it's not as intuitive as it should be, but it is basically a tutorial of things you can do. Do yourself a favour and place a gps location at each task, name them after said tasks. Note: it can take a while to complete.) If you have the Frostbite dlc, I recommend the Frostbite scenario too. It's not really tutorial like, but in general they did a great job with it. I had a lot of fun doing it.
How do tips work?

Non American here. I've always wondered when people tip, where exactly does the money from the tip go? Let's say I tip my waiter $5, does that $5 go into the waiter's pocket or is it split among restaurant staff? Does the pay someone receives in a day vary with tips then? Thanks 🙏
Top Comment: Each restaurant has its own policy. Pooling tips and sharing equally is common, but not universal.
